The festival, the purpose of which is to educate the public on the many uses and benefits of the cannabis plant, runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Although the issue of marijuana legalization is at the center of Hempfest, the festival's always-impressive band lineup is a major reason why it is expected to draw more than 150,000 people to the waterfront this weekend. Among the many…

It wasn’t so much a ‘band versus fan’ moment as a ‘fan wins outright immediately’ moment. When Panic at the Disco took the stage at last year’s Reading Festival, frontman Brendon Urie…

Lethal Bizzle, a Mobo-winning black rapper who once called David Cameron a “donut” for blaming youth violence on rap music, had to perform his set at the annual Download Festival on Sunday under constant shower of objects, including bottles thrown by the crowd who appeared to dislike his inclusion in an otherwise predominantly heavy metal line-up.
The 24-year-old grime star, who was born to Ghanaian parents and grew up in Walthamstow, east London, initially declined to talk about the racist abuse but has decided to urge festival-goers to be more accepting of urban acts appearing…

West was due to perform at 2:45am yesterday morning but did not emerge on stage until 4:25am. Even with the stage set-up apparently completed at 3.30am, West did not appear for almost another hour. The crowd repeatedly chanted “Kanye sucks!” during the delay, and today a section of portaloos onsite were spraypainted with the words “Fuck Kanye”.

A giant inflatable pig that went missing from a Southern California music festival at the weekend has been found in tatters in a desert town.
The pig, which has been a signature Pink Floyd stage prop since its appearance on the 1977 cover of “Animals” and the song “Pigs on Wings,” broke away from its tethers on Sunday night at Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival.

To celebrate our wonderful week in the heart of Texas, a week where the epicenter of the film world shifted some 1,400 miles to the east ? a place with great BBQ and even better people.
Everyone knows someone who is a little too into their video games. World of Warcraft, Everquest and Second Life, among others, have all drawn people into an online community where anyone can be who they want to be and, in many cases, be someone…
