The irrepressible George Clinton, likes to paint when he’s not making music. The old music, he says, is ripe for reintroduction to the age group that makes up much of his jam-happy audience these days. “I look around for people popping their fingers. If they ain’t popping their fingers in two or three bars, something’s wrong.”…
For his new album, “George Clinton and His Gangsters of Love,” out Tuesday, the bandleader enlisted the help of Carlos Santana, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and funky recluse Sly Stone to cover the kind of old-school jams the…

God: **** Listen First of all, how about the clever use of gospel piano (provided by Billy Preston) to back up a song denouncing religion? And imagine the shock waves this must have sent through Beatles fans when they first heard it, as…

After a successful career in the music world as the front-girl of Garbage, singer Shirley Manson has now made the leap to the acting world, having appeared in the second season premiere of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Although it was reported that Manson would be playing corporate honcho Catherine Weaver, we had no clue she would be a T-1001.
“Some terminator action; I don?t know, they don?t really tell us much about what?s going to happen from episode to episode, we really learn on a need to know basis, unfortunately, so I?ve not seen an idea for where it?s going to go. With…

You know what we’re talking about - those insanely catchy rap anthems that run during the end credits of movies, blithely recounting everything you’ve just watched to a drum-machine beat. So, as an ode to the golden days of plot-summarizing hip-hop, we’ve assembled this list of ten of our favorite hilariously awesome end-credit rap songs.
Why We Love It: If there was a lifetime achievement award in the field of overly-expository end-credit rap songs, the first recipient would, unquestionably, be Will Smith, a trail-blazing advocate for the art of recounting movie plots…
